Rotary E-Club of One World member and Community Service Director, Bill Boyd,
visited the Rotary Club of Carpinteria Morning.
It was a great time this morning connecting up with the members of the Rotary Club of Carpinteria Morning.  PDG Wade Nomura briefed me on his recent Rotary travels and TRF activities.  It was nice to chat with OWR member Marna Coday, who has chosen CMR as her “buddy club.”  The program was on Mayan Families, a project of the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara, the oldest club in District 5240.  My friend Bill Dutton described the work of feed their club In Guatemala over the past 5 years.  He showed a video of their recent visit to Guatemala, where they helped build stoves, two houses and worked with educational activities for local Mayan Families. I hope we can join them for a service visit at a future date.
