Greetings fellow Rotarians and guests!
Welcome to the
Rotary E-Club of One World!

I am happy to inform you that our friend and Carpinteria Morning Rotarian, Art Fisher, has notified us that our E-Club of One World’s International Service Solar Lights project is on it’s way to helping 67 beneficiaries in three regions of our One World!

Thanks to Solar Lights donors Mitch Wood, David Wood, Bill  Boyd, Nabil Bedewi, Amanda Richards, Gregg Persall, Suresh Ranade, Nancy Jeffrey, Thoko Mkwanazi, Frank Tripicchio and Susan Weaver for Making a Difference!

The lights will be distributed as follows:
  • Fifteen lights arrived in the Himalayas and have been distributed to villagers (our club paid the shipping).
  • Twenty-six  lights are on there way to Zimbabwe via OWR member Thoko Mkwanazi in Tennessee who has arranged their shipping to Thekwane School and will require a three month boat trip to Zimbabwe.
  • Twenty-six lights will be taken by Art’s Ghana contact, Mark Malangko, to St. Augustine’s Technical School in Ghana on 9 September.
Well done!

REMINDER, if you haven't already done so, please consider donating $5 or more to the Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee by clicking on the Rose to the right.  We will provide this opportunity for you to help trough the end of August.  Let's show Barry we support him and the RRPFC and all their efforts to bring the Rotary Rose Parade Float to the world!

Thank you!
