Teach every child about food

Did you know diet related diseases are the biggest killer in the United States? Thirty years ago most of the food in United States was largely local and fresh, but sadly now is mostly processed. A lot of children in the States do not know what potatoes, broccoli, celery, and other vegetables look like, which begs a question of what they are eating. What is the food menu situation in your child's school? What other current food and diet related issues are western countries facing today?

Please watch Jamie's talk below, become aware of these serious issues and learn what can be done to repair them.

About Jamie Oliver

Jamie (James Trevor) Oliver is a British chef, restaurateur and media personality, known for his food-focused television shows, cookbooks and more recently his campaign against the use of processed foods in national schools.

Now, Oliver is using his fame and charm to bring attention to the changes that Brits and Americans need to make in their lifestyles and diet in order to improve both.
